An interdisciplinary experience for students in architecture, landscape and town planning, led by:
The architecture school of Marseille (Alexandra Biehler, Marion Serre et Gabriele Salvia – laboratoire Project[s])
The Versailles-Marseille landscape school (Anne-Sophie Perrot (laboratoire LAREP) et François Wattellier)
The urban planning institute of Aix-en-Provence (Séverine Bonnin-Oliveira – laboratoire LIEU)
With the participation and support of the municipality of Aix-en-Provence, as well as the involvement of the neighborhood interest committee of the Pont de l’Arc.
This workshop is also part of the research project: POPSU-Metropolis Aix-Marseille-Provence The “grand” landscape as a resource (s). Started in 2019, this project brings together the Versailles-Marseille landscape school, the Architecture School of Marseille and the urban planning institue of Aix-en-Provence to document, represent the landscapes of the metropolis and their policies, as well as co-construct the resources of the “grand landscape”.
To organize this intensive workshop, the CAPA.CITY research project (ENSA-M, Project [s]) is a solid contribution in terms of knowledge of the site.
This intensive workshop offers an educational experience based on the intersection of the three disciplines – landscape, architecture and urbanism – which will soon be gathered in the Mediterranean Institute of City and Territories (IMVT).
